In order to avoid fire

1. Do not smoke in places where a fire can be easily started. Smoking in bed strictly prohibited. Also, please do not smoke while you walk around in our facilities.
2. We ban the use of room-warming devices, cooking stoves, or the use of irons in the room.

For security and safety

3. Please make sure to lock your room door when you go out anytime during your stay.
4. Please leave your room key at the front desk whenever you go out during your stay.
5. Please do not play with, touch or use fire-fighting equipment unnecessarily.

Valuables, checked belongings and lost items

6. We are not responsible for loss or damages of cash, valuables or other belongings when our guests go out without checking them at the front desk.

Payment

7. When you use restaurants at Ryumeikan with your signature, please show your room key to a restaurant clerk. We do not offer temporary advances for tickets for transportation, taxes, stamps, tobacco, or mailing.
8. Depending on a situation, we may charge our guests a deposit upon arrival.

Other rules

9. Do not bring items that might bother other guests or cause problems, including dogs, cats, birds, or any other animals, incendiary or flammable items, things that have an offensive odor and any items prohibited by law.
10. Please avoid talking or singing loudly, making loud noises, or any indecent behavior. Do not behave in ways that might bother our other guests.
11. Please do not exhibit, advertise and sell anything in our facilities without our permission.
12. After using the sink or bathtub, please make sure to completely turn the water off. If you keep running water, it may cause problems to rooms next door or under your room.
13. We do not accept guests under age staying without their parents' permission.
14. We ask all of our guests for cooperation to save on electricity and water.
