Ryumeikan Co., Ltd., (“the Company”) thinks that it is very important to handle personal information with the utmost care in accordance with its General Rules on the Protection of Personal Information. The Company fully acknowledges this importance. To that end, the Company has established and follows the privacy policy as mentioned below. The Company strives to maintain the confidentiality of such information by regularly reviewing and enhancing the policy.

The Company’s use of provided personal information is restricted to the following purposes.

1. To confirm reservations of the Company’s hotels and restaurants and for their operations.
2. To improve productions and services offered at the Company’s hotels and restaurants.
3. To provide information about the Company’s service and productions related to the Company and the Company’s associate companies in order to operate their hotels and restaurants.

The Company collects personal information in accordance with General Rules on the Protection of Personal Information in the following circumstances: by receiving phone calls or other contacts to reserve rooms at the hotels, tables at the restaurants and to use other facilities in the hotels; by having a questionnaire; and by receiving inquiry to send information materials and opinions from customers.

The Company handles personal information provided by customers with care and, with the following exceptions, does not provide such information to third parties: when the customers agree to such provision or when such provision is required by law. However, if there are needs of the Company’s associate companies to inform about their services or to offer services related to the hotels or restaurants, personal information may be provided to the Company’s associate companies. For such shared use, the Company is responsible for personal information.

The Company strives to maintain the confidentiality of personal information to the extent that it needs to achieve the goals listed in Section 1 above. With the compliance with its General Rules on the Protection of Personal Information and other guidelines, the Company seeks to protect the security for personal information, acknowledging the importance of such information. In order to regulate the operations so that personal information can be used properly, the Company also focuses on training and education of its employees. When any personal information is needed to be provided to Trustees, the Company appropriately supervises Trustees.

The Company will modify, correct, or delete personal information as requested by customers with the procedures as mentioned below:

1. The Company asks requesting customers to fill in the Company designated forms and to request according to the process required by the Company.
2. Along with the forms, identity verification documents are needed.
3. In principle, the Company replies in writing.
