Head chef Masafumi Okubo

A graduate of the Musashino Cooking School, the head chef hails from Saitama Prefecture.
After training at including a stint at a restaurant serving blowfish, he joined Ryumeikan.In 2014, he became a head chef at “Hanagoyomi Tokyo” in Tokyo’s Chuo Ward. He was also involved starting “RESTAURANT 1899 OCHANOMIZU” and became the head chef on August 1, 2014. He has a passion to create new Japanese cuisine featuring green tea beyond the concept of green tea as a beverage.
